[02-18-2021] Los Angeles, CA – Ice Cream Truck Crash on Normandie Avenue Injures Four People

Four people were hurt after a two-vehicle collision involving an ice cream truck in South Los Angeles on Thursday evening, February 18.

The collision transpired at approximately 6:05 p.m. in the 6428 block of South Normandie Avenue near Gage Avenue. An ice cream truck collided with a speeding vehicle on South Normandie Avenue.

Due to the severity of the collision, the ice cream truck flipped onto its side. The vehicle that collided with the ice cream truck laugh caught fire.

Firefighters were called to the scene to extinguish the fire. The occupants of the burning car were able to exit the vehicle safely.

Four people were injured as a result of the collision. Three of them suffered from fractured legs. The driver of the ice cream truck complained of pain as well.

Local authorities are further investigating the case.
