[08-12-2020] Los Angeles, CA – Injuries Reported After a Multi-Vehicle Crash on 110 Freeway

A total of seven people were injured after a multi-vehicle traffic collision in Downtown Los Angeles on Wednesday night, August 12.

The accident occurred on the southbound Harbor (110) Freeway near the Santa Monica (10) Freeway at approximately 8:00 p.m.

How the collision occurred, why it happened, and the number of vehicles involved in the crash is currently unknown. Paramedics and firefighters responded to the scene and extricated several people from the wreckage. Two adults and five children sustained varying degrees of injury due to the crash.

Three patients, a 34-year-old woman, a 10-year-old girl, and a toddler sustained non-life-threatening injuries. The other four patients sustained severe injuries and are currently in critical condition.
