[08-10-2020] Los Angeles, CA – LAPD Officer Injured in a DUI Collision at South Los Angeles

A Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) officer was hurt after an alleged DUI crash in South Los Angeles on Monday evening, August 10.

The crash took place at the intersection of West Colden Avenue and South Broadway at around 8:30 p.m. The officer was reportedly sitting in his vehicle when a suspected drunk driver suddenly struck his car.

The LAPD officer sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was immediately taken to a nearby hospital to be examined. Additional information about the crash is limited at the moment.
