[09-16-2020] Los Angeles, CA – One Man Killed After a Fatal Bicycle Crash in Compton

An unidentified 40-year-old man was killed in bicycle crash in Compton on Wednesday, September 16.

According to the local authorities’ initial reports, the crash transpired around 11:15 p.m. on Rosecrans Avenue, just west of Aprilia Avenue. A 2008 Honda Element struck the bicyclist in a poorly lit area on Rosecrans Avenue. The Honda changed lanes before hitting the rear of the bicycle.

First responders found the bicyclist lying down on the roadway. He was unresponsive. The bicyclist was later pronounced dead at the scene. Additional details about the collision are limited at the moment.
