[10-04-2020] Los Angeles, CA – One Pedestrian Killed After a Fatal Hit-and-Run Accident

A 58-year-old Malibu resident identified as Michael Bennet was killed by a hit-and-run driver on Pacific Coast Highway in Malibu on Sunday, October 4.

The fatal hit-and-run accident occurred on the Pacific Coast Highway westbound portion at Las Flores Canyon Road at approximately 10:30 p.m.

The victim was struck by a vehicle on the Pacific Coast Highway near Las Flores Canyon Road. The driver that struck him did not stop to help the victim and fled the scene.

The suspect’s car was described as a dark-colored sedan heading westbound on PCH when the accident occurred. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene due to the severity of his injuries.
