[08-16-2020] Los Angeles, CA – One Person Dead After a Fatal 3-Vehicle Crash in Hawthorne

One unidentified person was killed after a three-vehicle traffic collision in Hawthorne on Sunday night, August 16.

According to the initial reports from local authorities, the deadly crash transpired at around 9:47 p.m. Two vehicles collided at the intersection of Lemoli and Rescrans avenues for unclear reasons.

Due to the severity of the impact, both cars drifted onto a sidewalk where they later hit the third car. The third vehicle was reportedly pulling out of a burger restaurant parking lot at the time of the collision.

One person was transported to the Harbor UCLA Medical Center after sustaining life-threatening injuries. He later succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead.
