Two people were killed due to a reckless driving incident in North Hollywood on Saturday evening, March 13.

[03-13-2021] Los Angeles, CA - Two People Killed After A Deadly Car Crash In North HollywoodThe deadly crash happened on Vineland Avenue near Oxnard Street in North Hollywood at approximately 6:30 p.m. A southbound gay 2005 Saturn ION was reportedly speeding on Vineland Avenue.

The driver then lost control and veered into the opposite lane before driving off the roadway and crashing into two parked vehicles and a pedestrian.

Three people were extricated by emergency personnel from the wreckage and were immediately taken to a nearby trauma center.

Sadly, two other people died as a result of the crash. One of the victims was a pedestrian who was later identified as 36-year-old Edgar K.

The accident is currently under investigation. Witnesses that can give more information about the accident are urged to contact the LAPD Valley Traffic Division detectives at 818-644-8114.
