[05-28-2020] Los Angeles, CA – Woman Dead After Getting Struck by a Car in West Covina

An unidentified 26-year-old woman died after getting struck by a vehicle on the eastbound San Bernardino (10) Freeway in West Covina on Thursday morning, May 28th.

According to the initial reports from the California Highway Patrol (CHP), the fatal accident happened at around t 4:30 a.m. west of Azusa Avenue. The unidentified victim was driving her 2000 Toyota Camry when she pulled over and went out of her vehicle, possibly due to mechanical issues.

As she was attempting to determine the issue with her car, she was suddenly struck by a 2019 Nissan Altima. The woman was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver of the Altima was later identified as a 27-year-old man named Dracy Anderson. The Altima driver remained at the scene and cooperated with local authorities.
