A fire damaged a residence in the Westlake neighborhood leaving one individual with a burn injury Monday, October 6.

[10-06-2021] Los Angeles County, CA - One Person Injured On A Fire In West Lake AreaThe Los Angeles Fire Department said that firefighters dispatched to the 800 block of South Beacon Avenue at 8:03 a.m. extinguished the flames in the two-story building in 17 minutes.

The extent of the person’s damage was unknown at the time. The cause of the fire was being looked into. One unidentified person was injured after a fire broke out in a residence in the Westlake neighborhood on Monday morning, October 6.

The fire happened at around 8:30 a.m. in the 800 block of South Beacon Avenue in the West Lake Area. The Los Angeles Fire Department was dispatched to the area to extinguish the flame in the two-story building.

It took the firemen 17 minutes before the flames were completely extinguished. One person was injured in the fire. The severity of the person’s injuries and their identity have not been disclosed. The case is currency under further investigation.
