[09-20-2021] Los Angeles County, CA – One Person Killed in a Deadly Pedestrian Crash in Long Beach

One person was killed after a deadly pedestrian crash near Anaheim Street on Monday morning, September 20.

The deadly accident transpired at approximately 5:30 a.m. on Interstate 710 Freeway near Anaheim Street.

The pedestrian was reportedly struck by a passing vehicle under unclear circumstances. How the crash occurred, and the reason it happened has not been established.

Unfortunately, the unidentified pedestrian was fatally injured in the crash and was pronounced dead at the scene. It’s unclear whether the driver was injured in the crash.

Information about the accident is limited at the moment. The identities of the involved parties have not been disclosed.

An active investigation of the crash is currently underway.
