[05-09-2021] Los Angeles County, CA – Authorities Seeking Help From Public to Identify Hit-and-Run Driver That Left 2 Children Seriously Hurt

Local authorities from Los Angeles are asking the public for help to identify the hit-and-run driver that left two young children critically injured on May 9th.

The accident transpired around noontime on Compton Avenue. The suspect was reportedly driving a southbound black or maroon Chevrolet Cruze.

The Chevrolet Cruze then crossed the street south and west of 92nd Avenue, where it struck two children.

The driver did not stop to render aid and immediately fled the scene. The two children were rushed to an area hospital in critical condition.

The Los Angeles Police Department recently released a photo of the black or maroon Chevrolet Cruze, hoping that locals can help identify the hit-and-run driver with the photo.
