[09-18-2021] Los Angeles County, CA - Pack Of Unleashed Dog Attacked Residents In Tarzana NeighborhoodThe terrifying incident happened on Saturday night, September 18 in Tarzana, when a gang of cane corso dogs, a huge mastiff breed, approached a woman named Lenay G. Two neighbors raced to her rescue, but not before she was bitten twice, leaving swelling and bruised markings on her upper thigh from one of the injuries.

She claimed she got in her car and drove about the area after hearing the dogs, all five of them, were loose. Savana D., who was dog-sitting nearby on Saturday, was also threatened by the same loose dogs and recorded the incident.

But she did not sustain any injuries from the event. As per neighbors, the attack on Saturday was not an unusual incident. The dogs were reportedly let loose at least twice a month.

LA Animal Services visited the neighborhood on Tuesday, more than six years after the first complaint was filed, and spoke with the dogs’ owner in detail. Local authorities are further investigating the case. Information about whether the canines will be detained or not has not been disclosed.
