Former University of Kentucky basketball player Terrence C. was killed in a deadly traffic collision in Chatsworth on Thursday afternoon, April 22.

[04-22-2021] Los Angeles County, CA - Former Kentucky Basketball Player Killed in a Deadly Car Crash in ChatsworthThe deadly accident took place on Winnetka Avenue near Nordhoff Street at approximately 2:10 p.m. The 19-year-old former basketball player was reportedly driving at high speeds and drove through a red light at the intersection. He then crashed into another vehicle.

Due to the severity of the impact, the athlete’s car veered off the roadway and struck a light pole before crashing into a brick wall.

The athlete was immediately taken to an area hospital in critical condition. Unfortunately, he later succumbed to his injuries and died while undergoing treatment.

The athlete was preparing for the upcoming NBA draft before his death, and it was his lifelong goal to play before the “Big Blue Nation.” His family and the University are currently mourning this tragic loss.

Tributes in the basketball world were made for the player, expressing love and grief. The Los Angeles Police Department is further investigating the accident.
