[07-01-2021] Los Angeles County, CA – Hit-and-Run Crash Near 405 Freeway Results in One Death

A 34-year-old man identified as Abdoul D. was killed after a hit-and-run accident near 405 Freeway on Thursday morning, July 1st.

The fatal collision took place on La Cienega at Imperial Highway, near the San Diego (405) Freeway, at around 12:35 a.m. The victim was reportedly crossing outside of the crosswalk when a southbound vehicle suddenly struck him.

The driver did not stop to help the victim and drove away from the scene. The vehicle was described to be either a recreational vehicle or a camper. The victim was killed in the crash. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
