A 78-year-old man identified as Nativdad H. was killed after a deadly multi-vehicle traffic collision in South Vermont on Thursday morning, May 13.

Several vehicles collided on the roadway under unclear circumstances. The number of vehicles involved and the reason why the collision occurred have not been established.

One person was killed as a result of the collision. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Three other people sustained unspecified injuries. They were all transported to an area hospital for treatment.

Local authorities are currently investigating the case.
