[04-04-2021] Motorcycle Crash in Long Beach Kills One PersonOne unidentified person was killed after a fatal motorcycle accident in Long Beach on Sunday afternoon, April 4.

The fatal crash transpired at around 1:45 p.m. at Magnolia Avenue and 32nd Street in Long Beach. A 2001 Yamaha motorcycle and a 2017 Honda Civic were involved in the collision.

The 2017 Honda Civic reportedly stopped for a red light on 32nd Street before driving westbound Magnolia Avenue. The Honda Civic then later pulled out in front of a northbound 2001 Yamaha.

The two vehicles collided with each other. The motorcyclist sustained fatal injuries from the accident.

Unfortunately, despite emergency personnel’s life-saving measures, the motorcyclist later succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead. The Honda Civic driver remained at the scene and cooperated with local authorities.

Police are trying to determine whether speeding was a factor in the accident. Local authorities are further investigating the accident.
