[05-05-2021] Los Angeles County, CA – Multi-Vehicle Collision in Santa Monica Results in One Death

One unidentified person was killed after a multi-vehicle traffic collision in Santa Monica on Wednesday night, May 5.

The accident happened on eastbound 10 Freeway near Centinela Avenue in Santa Monica at approximately 10:00 p.m.

Six vehicles were reportedly involved in the mishap. How the accident occurred, and the reason why it happened has not been established.

One person was trapped in one of the cars and was extricated by emergency personnel from the wreckage.

The identities of the involved parties have not been disclosed. The eastbound lanes of the freeway were closed down to give way for the cleanup and investigation.
