[03-19-2021] Los Angeles County, CA – One Person Killed After a Deadly Motorcycle Crash in Cerritos

One unidentified person was killed after a fatal motorcycle crash in Cerritos on Friday morning, March 19.

The deadly collision transpired at approximately 5:50 a.m. on Artesia (91) Freeway near Norwalk Boulevard in Cerritos.

An eastbound motorcyclist was riding on the carpool lane when an unspecified vehicle swerved in front of him. The motorcycle rider was then thrown off his motorcycle and into the westbound lanes, where he was struck by another vehicle.

Unfortunately, the motorcycle rider sustained serious injuries from the accident. He was later pronounced dead. The identities of the involved parties have not been disclosed.

Drugs and alcohol were not considered as factors in the accident. Local authorities are further investigating the accident and will attempt to determine the liability in the crash.
