[06-01-2021] One Person Killed After a Fatal Pedestrian Accident in PasadenaAn unidentified elderly lady was killed after a fatal pedestrian accident in Pasadena on Tuesday morning, June 1.

The accident happened at approximately 8:00 a.m. in the 600 block of Allen Street near the 210 Freeway in Pasadena.

The unidentified older woman was struck by a passing vehicle while she was crossing an unmarked crosswalk. It was unclear what caused the driver to hit the woman.

The driver that struck the woman remained at the scene and cooperated with local authorities. No arrests have been made at the moment. Unfortunately, the older woman was unable to survive her injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.

Local authorities are actively investigating the case. They will attempt to determine the factors that affected the accident and the liability.
