[08-07-2021] Los Angeles County, CA – Alleged Road Rage Crash in Long Beach Kills a Pregnant Woman and her Unborn Child

23-year-old Krista N. and her unborn child were killed after an alleged road rage accident in Long Beach on Saturday morning, August 7.

A 2006 GMC pickup truck was reportedly involved in a road rage incident with another vehicle. The other driver disengaged and decided not to argue with the GMC driver.

Unfortunately, the GMC pickup truck then struck a third car that was attempting to pull away from a curb. The GMC driver then lost control and crashed into a parked car.

The parked car was unoccupied. However, the pregnant passenger inside the pickup truck was fatally injured. The pregnant woman was immediately rushed to an area hospital. Unfortunately, she later succumbed to her injuries. She died along with her unborn baby.

The pregnant woman’s 5-year-old son is currently under the custody of his father’s family. The victim’s family has set up a GoFundme to help them with funeral expenses.

The GMC driver was later identified as 25-year-old Miguel L. He was arrested on suspicion of gross vehicular manslaughter while intoxicated and has a bail set at $200,000.
