[07-23-2020] Madera County, CA – One Man Dead After a Fatal Hit-and-Run Pedestrian Accident on Road 224

An unidentified pedestrian was killed after getting struck by a vehicle on Road 224 on  July 23.

According to the California Highway Patrol’s initial reports, the fatal accident transpired at around 3:30 a.m. The pedestrian was walking on the roadway of Road 224 near North Fork when he was suddenly struck by a passing vehicle for unclear reasons.

The driver of the vehicle fled the scene. The description of the car that hit the pedestrian has not been disclosed. The pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene.
