[10-22-2021] Merced County, CA – Seven People Injured After a Multi-Vehicle Collision near Plainsburg Road

Seven people were hurt after a multi-vehicle traffic collision near Plainsburg Road on Friday morning, October 22.

According to the initial reports from local authorities, the crash happened on Highway 99 near Plainsburg Road at approximately 9:20 a.m.

A Mercedes-Benz Sprinter van, a Toyota Camry, and a Honda Accord were involved in the collision. One of the vehicles lost control and struck another vehicle, while a third vehicle also got caught up in the crash.

It’s unclear what caused the collision to occur. Seven people were injured as a result of the crash. They were all taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.
