An unidentified pickup truck driver was killed after getting struck by multiple vehicles near Delhi on early Sunday morning, October 10.

[10-10-2021] Merced County, CA - Ejected Driver Killed After Getting Struck by Multiple Vehicles near DelhiThe fatal crash took place on northbound Highway 99, near Shanks Road in Delhi, at approximately 1:25 a.m. The unidentified man was driving a 2012 Dodge Ram pickup when, for unclear reasons, he crashed into a construction barrier on northbound Highway 99.

Due to the severity of the impact, his vehicle was overturned, and he was ejected from his pickup truck. The pickup truck driver was then struck by four other northbound vehicles.

The drivers that struck the victim pulled over and willingly cooperated with authorities. Unfortunately, the pickup truck driver succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. His identity has not been disclosed.
