[09-01-2020] Merced County, CA – One Man Dead After a Fatal Pedestrian Accident in Martin Luther King, Jr. Way

An unidentified pedestrian was killed after getting struck by a vehicle in Merced on early Tuesday morning, September 1.

According to the initial reports from local authorities, the deadly accident occurred after midnight in the 1100 block of Martin Luther King, Jr. Way. The pedestrian was attempting to cross the roadway when he was suddenly struck by an unspecified vehicle. The pedestrian was dragged by the vehicle for a while before the driver was able to stop.
