[06-28-2021] Monterey County, CA – Two-Vehicle Crash in Salinas Injures Three People

Three people were injured after a two-vehicle traffic collision in Salinas on Monday afternoon, June 28.

According to the initial reports from local authorities, the collision occurred in the area of Blanco Road and La Mesa Drive at around noon. A white sedan and a silver Nissan Altima collided at the intersection for unclear reasons. The circumstances leading up to the accident have not been established.

One person riding in one of the vehicles was ejected after the crash. A total of three people were hurt as a result of the mishap. All of the injured parties were rushed to Natividad Medical Center for treatment. They sustained major injuries from the accident.

The identities of the involved parties have not been disclosed. No arrests have been made at the moment. The intersection was closed to give way for the cleanup and the investigation.  Additional details about the accident are unavailable at the moment. Local authorities are further investigating the case.
