[12-06-2020] Napa County, CA – Motorcycle Crash on Pope Canyon Road Injures One Person

A motorcyclist identified as Dylan Thieu was injured after a major motorcycle crash on Pope Canyon Road on Sunday afternoon, December 6.

According to the California Highway Patrol’s initial reports, the accident occurred at approximately 1:00 p.m. on Pope Canyon Road in Napa County. An unspecified vehicle and the motorcyclist crashed into each other on the roadway for unclear reasons.

The motorcycle rider sustained serious injuries from the accident. He was airlifted to John Muir Hospital to receive treatment. The driver of the vehicle was identified as 23-year-old Heather Lieb. She remained at the scene and cooperated with local authorities.

Drugs and alcohol were not considered as factors in the crash.
