[07-23-2020] Napa County, CA – One Person Hurt After a 4-Vehicle Crash on Silverado Trail

A 19-year-old woman identified as Marina Maher sustained injuries after a 4-vehicle traffic collision in Napa County on Thursday afternoon, July 23.

According to the local authorities’ initial reports, the accident occurred at around 3:30 p.m. north of Oak Knoll Avenue. A van heading southbound swerved into the path of a northbound BMW driven by the 19-year-old victim. The victim then attempted to avoid the collision by swerving onto the shoulder but unfortunately lost control of her vehicle. This then caused a huge domino effect affecting multiple cars in the process. The victim’s vehicle rotated into the southbound lane into a pickup truck’s path, which was pushed back into another car.

A total of four vehicles were involved in the collision. The victim was immediately taken to Queen of the Valley Medical Center to receive treatment for her injuries.
