[12-02-2020] Nevada County, CA – Two People Injured After a Car Crash in Grass Valley

Two unidentified people were hurt after a two-vehicle traffic collision in Grass Valley on Wednesday afternoon, December 2.

The collision transpired at around 2:53 p.m. on Highway 49, near Wellswood Way, just south of McKnight Way in Grass Valley.

A white pickup truck and a silver jeep were involved in the accident. One of the vehicles was reportedly pulling out of a cross-street to turn left onto the highway but ended up colliding with another car.

Due to the severity of the impact, one of the vehicles flipped and rolled over several times. Both of the cars sustained significant damage from the crash resulting in a traffic hazard in the roadway.

Both drivers were seriously injured and were taken to an area hospital for treatment.

Two-Vehicle Collision Investigation is Underway

The California Highway Patrol is currently investigating the case. They will attempt to determine the cause and liability.
