A 24-year-old Cypress resident identified as Ho Cheong was killed due to a deadly bicycle accident in la Palma on Sunday afternoon, November 15.

The accident transpired at Crescent Avenue and Walker Street in La Palma at approximately 1:25 p.m.

The victim was riding his bicycle near the La Palma intersection when he was suddenly hit by a passing truck.

The bicyclist sustained life-threatening injuries as a result of the accident. He was rushed to UCI Medical Center for treatment, where he was later pronounced dead.
