Three people were killed after a fatal two-vehicle collision in Anaheim on early Tuesday morning, May 4.

A white Mercedes and a black Kia compact SUV reportedly collided on the roadway. Due to the severity of the impact, debris from the vehicles flew in the air and a small fire was ignited.

Emergency personnel and firefighters immediately responded to the scene. Unfortunately, three male occupants of the black Kia were killed in the mishap.

Authorities suspect that the Mercedes driver may have been speeding. The driver and the passenger of the Mercedes fled the scene but they were later found at a hospital.

Local police are currently investigating the case.
