Two people were seriously hurt after a two-vehicle collision in Anaheim on Thursday morning, January 14.

An Anaheim FD Engine 6 was heading southbound when an SUV suddenly broadsided it at Sumac Ln. The Anaheim FD Engine was reportedly responding to a medical call at the time of the accident.

Two people were seriously injured as a result of the crash. They were immediately taken to an area hospital for treatment.

Authorities suspect that drugs or alcohol may have played a role in the accident. They are currently investigating the case.
