Woman Hit and Pinned Under Vehicle in Garden Grove Gets Rescued

In Garden Grove, CA a woman was rescued thanks to local firefighters after she was pinned underneath her vehicle after her vehicle was struck at a gas station on Saturday, January 26th.

The crews had to use jacks with hydraulics in order to remove the vehicle that had the woman pinned at the Arco Service Station on 12931 Garden Grove Blvd. Thanh Nguyen, the Garden Grove Fire Captain informed news stations.

According to the release from the Police Department in Garden Grove, this collision happened around 10:45 in the evening. After the woman was freed from her vehicle, she was then treated by paramedics at the seen before being transported to the Medical Center at UCI, as stated by the release.

As of Monday evening the woman was said to still be at the hospital in critical condition, but said to be in a stable condition.

The victim’s identity, name, age, and city of residence, has yet to be reported. The types of injuries that she sustained are also unknown at this time.

The other driver involved in the incident stayed and was interviewed by the police at the scene and did not show any signs of being impaired, according to the release. The other driver was said to be cooperating with police as they continue their investigation into this matter.

There have not be any arrests made with this incident as of last night, however, there is an ongoing investigation for the cause of the crash at this time. The other driver’s identity such as gender, age, name, or place of residence has not been reported at this time.
