Three people were seriously hurt after a major head-on collision near Quincy on Tuesday morning, May 4.

[05-04-2021] Plumas County, CA - Three People Injured After a Major Head-On Collision in QuincyThe major collision transpired at approximately 11:10 a.m. on Highway 89, Crescent Grade in Quincy.

A northbound Lexus driven by Jennifer Maynard collided head-on with a northbound 2018 Freightliner driven by Kenneth M. The circumstances leading up to the collision have not been established. Due to the severity of the impact, the Lexus started to rotate and overturn.

A passenger in the Lexus was ejected from the vehicle. He was identified as Todd T. He sustained serious injuries and had to be airlifted to Renown Medical Center for treatment. The Lexus driver and her second passenger, Justin T., sustained minor injuries after the collision.
