[07-17-2020] Riverside, CA – 1 Person Injured After a Semi-Truck Crash in Perris

One person sustained significant injuries after a semi-truck accident in Perris on Friday morning, July 17.

According to the initial reports from local authorities, the crash transpired at about 4:55 a.m. A semi-truck collided head-on with another vehicle on Ramona Expressway at Nevada Road.

The cause of the accident and how the collision occurred is currently unclear. One person was trapped in the wreckage. First responders had to extricate the victim from his vehicle. The victim extricated from the vehicle sustained severe injuries. He was immediately transported to a local hospital to receive treatment.
