[06-11-2020] Riverside, CA – Bicyclist Killed After a Hit and Run Accident in Corona

A 21-year-old bicyclist identified as Benjamin Montalvo was killed by a hit-and-run driver in Corona, California, on Thursday night, June 11th.

According to the initial reports from the Corona Police Department, the fatal accident happened at around 11:50 p.m.

The victim was riding his bicycle with his friends in the 1600 block of Rimpau Avenue, near Olympic Drive, when a dark-colored sedan suddenly crashed into him from behind. The sedan didn’t stop to help the victim and fled the scene.

Due to the severity of his injuries, the victim was later pronounced dead at the scene by the paramedics. Additional information about the fatal accident is limited at the moment.
