One person was killed while three others were hurt after a major car crash in Palm Desert on Wednesday night, November 3, 2021.
The crash happened in the area of Washington Street at 42 Avenue in Palm Desert at around 8:28 p.m. Two vehicles collided on the roadway under unclear circumstances. How the collision occurred, and the reason it happened has not been established.
Victims had to be extricated from the wreckage by emergency personnel following the fatal crash. One person was pronounced dead at the scene.
Three other people sustained minor to moderate injuries in the mishap. They were taken to an area hospital for treatment. The identities of the involved parties have not been disclosed.
The case is currently;y under further investigation. Authorities will attempt to determine the factors and the liability in the crash.
