[07-13-2021] Riverside County, CA – One Person Hurt After a Two-Vehicle Crash in Cathedral City

One unidentified person was hurt after a two-vehicle traffic crash near the Date Palm bridge on Tuesday night, July 13.

The accident happened at the intersection of Date Palm Drive and Perez Road in Cathedral City at around 7:30 p.m. Two unspecified vehicles collided at the intersection for unknown reasons. The circumstances leading up to the accident have not been established.

Due to the severity of the impact, one of the involved vehicles overturned and landed on its side. One person sustained minor injuries from the mishap. They were taken to an area hospital for treatment.
