Seven people were injured after a major traffic collision at an intersection in Indio on Tuesday afternoon, August 9.

Seven people were injured as a result of the mishap. Four people sustained moderate injuries, while one other person had minor injuries. Two people were seriously injured and were immediately taken to an area hospital for treatment.

The identities of the involved parties have not been disclosed. No arrests have been made at the moment. The Indio Police Department and California Highway Patrol are currently investigating the case.
