[11-11-2020] Riverside County, CA – Fatal Motorcycle Accident in Winchester Results in One Death

One unidentified motorcyclist was killed after getting struck by a big rig in Winchester on Wednesday afternoon, November 11. 

The deadly crash occurred on Highway 79 near Stetson Avenue in Winchester at approximately 1:20 p.m. 

The motorcyclist reportedly struck the back of a vehicle then swerved into the other side of the two-lane thoroughfare before going to the path of a big rig. 

The big rig was unable to avoid the motorcyclist in time, colliding head-on with the motorcycle. 

The motorcyclist was killed in the wreck. He was pronounced dead at the scene. 

The highway was temporarily shut down to give way for the investigation and cleanup. It was reopened at 4:45 p.m. 

Fatal Motorcycle Accident Investigation is Underway

The California Highway Patrol is currently investigating the cause of the fatal crash.
