[12-28-2020] Riverside County, CA – Major Big Rig Crash in Corona Injures One Person

One person was seriously injured after a traffic collision involving a big rig in Corona on Monday afternoon, December 28.

According to the local authorities’ initial reports, the accident took place at the intersection of Cajalco Road and La Sierra Avenue.

A big rig and a pickup truck collided on the roadway in the morning hours. The circumstances leading up to the collision have not been established.

One person sustained moderate injuries as a result of the accident. It is unclear whether they were taken to an area hospital or not.
