[10-08-2020] Riverside County, CA – One Person Killed After a Fatal Big Rig Collision on Meridian Parkway

A 53-year-old Moreno Valley resident identified as Paul Tynon was killed after his car collided with a big rig near Riverside National Cemetery on Wednesday morning, October 8.

The accident happened at approximately 7:25 a.m. . at the intersection of Meridian Parkway and East Van Buren Boulevard. A big rig and an SUV were involved in the accident—the two vehicles collided on the highway for unknown reasons.

The victim was ejected from his SUV due to the severity of the impact. He was later pronounced dead at the scene. The second driver sustained unspecified injuries and was taken to the Riverside Community Hospital to receive treatment.
