[06-10-2021] Riverside County, CA – Toddler Killed in a Fatal Pedestrian Accident in Menifee

A 2-year-old girl was killed after getting struck by a passing vehicle in Menifee on Thursday afternoon, June 10th.

The deadly accident took place on Whembly Circle near Cherry Hinton Street in Menifee at approximately 3:35 p.m. The two-year-old girl was reportedly walking on Whembly Circle when a 1997 Chevrolet pickup truck suddenly hit her.

The pickup truck driver claims that he could not notice the little girl on the front side of his vehicle as he was slowly pulling forward out his driveway. The little girl was fatally wounded from the accident. She was unfortunately pronounced dead at the scene.

The identities of the involved parties have not been disclosed. No arrests have been made at the moment. The California Highway Patrol is further investigating the case.
