[10-23-2021] Riverside County, CA – Teen Killed After a Wrong-Way Crash in Lake Elsinore

An 18-year-old woman identified as Ana A. was killed after a deadly wrong-way collision in Lake Elsinore on Saturday morning, October 23.

The 18-year-old woman headed westbound on Railroad Canyon when she crossed over the median for unclear reasons and veered into the opposite lanes. She then collided with an oncoming eastbound vehicle.

The 18-year-old driver sustained life-threatening injuries in the mishap. Unfortunately, she succumbed to her injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.

Meanwhile, the other driver sustained moderate injuries and was immediately taken to an area hospital for treatment.
