A 21-year-old Fair Oaks woman was pronounced dead at the scene in Carmichael.

[09-27-2021] Sacramento County, CA - Woman Dead, 2 Injured After Three-Vehicle In CarmichaelAccording to the California Highway Patrol (CHP) in the North Sacramento region, a three-vehicle collision in Carmichael wounded two individuals and killed one.

A GMC Denali was rear-ended by a silver sedan driving eastbound on Fair Oaks Blvd about 4:35 p.m., according to the California Highway Patrol.

When the car overturned into oncoming westbound traffic, it collided head-on with a Chevy pickup truck.
The sedan’s driver, a 21-year-old Fair Oaks woman, was pronounced dead at the site.

The Denali’s driver, a 62-year-old male also from Fair Oaks, was transported to the hospital with minor injuries, while the Chevy’s driver, a 56-year-old guy from Carmichael, was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.

The toxicology report for the deceased has not yet been completed, but drugs and alcohol do not appear to have played a role in the crash, according to CHP.
