Two people were seriously hurt after a major hit-and-run accident near Marysville on Thursday morning, June 24.

The accident transpired at approximately 10:20 a.m. on the westbound side of Interstate 80 near Marysville Boulevard. A big rig or a box truck reportedly sideswiped a sedan for unclear reasons. The driver of the big rig drove away from the scene.
