[08-15-2021] Sacramento County, CA – Five People Hurt After a Multi-Vehicle Crash in Rio Linda

Five people were injured after a major multi-vehicle collision in Rio Linda on Sunday afternoon, August 15.

The major crash happened at around 2:45 p.m. at Blacktop Road and Elkhorn Boulevard in Rio Linda. Multiple vehicles reportedly collided on the roadway under unclear circumstances. How the collision occurred, and the number of vehicles involved in the collision has not been established.

One person was extricated from the wreckage by emergency personnel. A total of five people were injured in the mishap. The five injured parties were taken to UC Davis Medical Center.
