[11-19-2020] Sacramento County, CA – Multi-Vehicle Collision in Citrus Heights Injures One

One person sustained significant injuries after a multi-vehicle collision in Citrus Heights on Thursday night, November 19. 

According to the initial reports from local authorities, the accident occurred on Interstate 80, just south of Antelope Road in Citrus Heights. 

Three unspecified vehicles collided in the eastbound lane of Interstate 80.

How the collision occurred, and the reason why it happened has not been established. Witnesses in the area claim that at least one of the vehicles involved was speeding before the accident. 

One person was seriously hurt as a result of the multi-vehicle collision. The person was taken to an area hospital for medical treatment.
