An unidentified man was killed after a fatal hit-and-run pedestrian accident on Norwood Avenue on Sunday night, May 30.
The fatal hit-and-run accident took place in the 4200 block of Norwood Avenue at approximately 9:00 p.m.
The man was struck by an unspecified vehicle in Norwood for unclear reasons. The driver did not stop to help the victim and drove away. Emergency personnel later arrived and found the victim lying on the roadway with life-threatening injuries.
Unfortunately, the victim was unable to survive his injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. The identities of the involved parties have not been disclosed.
Local authorities are actively pursuing the whereabouts of the hit-and-run driver.
