[12-24-2020] Sacramento County, CA – Two-Vehicle Crash at Roseville Road Injures Three People

Three people were hurt after a two-vehicle traffic collision at an intersection in Sacramento County on Thursday evening, December 24.

The accident transpired at approximately 5:24 p.m. at the intersection of Roseville Road and Walerga Road.

A Mazda was reportedly driving on the northbound lanes of Roseville Road when it suddenly collided with a Nissan Sentra heading southbound. How the collision occurred, and the reason why it happened has not been determined.

Three people were extricated from the crash. The 20-year-old driver and the 20-year-old passenger of the Sentra sustained severe injuries and were taken to an area hospital.

A 79-year-old woman riding the Mazda also suffered from serious injuries. She was rushed to an area hospital for treatment as well.

Drugs and alcohol did not play a role in the accident.

Two-Vehicle Collision Investigation is Underway

The California Highway Patrol is currently investigating the case. They will attempt to determine the cause and liability.
