An unidentified woman was killed while a toddler was seriously hurt after a two-vehicle collision at Franklin Boulevard on Monday evening, June 28.

The woman was killed in the collision while a toddler who was in the vehicle sustained serious injuries. The toddler was immediately taken to an area hospital for treatment. The other driver sustained minor injuries and remained at the scene.

The Sacramento Police Department is further investigating the case. They will attempt to determine the factors that affected the crash and the liability.
