[06-28-2021] Sacramento County, CA – Woman Dead, Toddler Seriously Injured After a Fatal Traffic Collision at Franklin Boulevard

An unidentified woman was killed while a toddler was seriously hurt after a two-vehicle collision at Franklin Boulevard on Monday evening, June 28.

The deadly collision took place at the intersection of Franklin Boulevard and 20th Avenue at approximately 5:00 p.m. The woman was driving in the area when, under unclear circumstances, she collided with another vehicle.

The woman was killed in the collision while a toddler who was in the vehicle sustained serious injuries. The toddler was immediately taken to an area hospital for treatment. The other driver sustained minor injuries and remained at the scene.

The Sacramento Police Department is further investigating the case. They will attempt to determine the factors that affected the crash and the liability.
